Newquay St Michaels Memory CafeJuly 7 2015
The Newquay St Michaels memory cafe is open to anyone worried about their memory or affected by dementia. It is held on the 1st and 3rd Thursday from 2pm to 4pm at St Michaels Church.
Memory cafés are where people with memory loss and their family or carerscan socialise, take part in meaningful activities, and enjoy ‘home made’ cakes and refreshments. Memory cafés can help refresh and reweave the relationships between people with memory loss and their carers, and also build mutual support. Knowing that others really understand makes a difference, and this can grow into a support network that exists outside the café.
