Alzheimer’s Research UK is a leading research charity for dementia, dedicated to funding scientific studies to find ways to treat, cure or prevent all dementias.
The charity believes science and innovation hold the key to defeating dementia and invest in the scientists discovering more about the condition and its causes.
In 1997 Alzheimer’s Research UK began funding work directly in research institutions. At the same time, the charity launched a Research Network to ensure that its multi-disciplinary vision to bring dementia scientists together was realised.
