A specialist telephone based information and navigation service. A person can be referred to us through our newly developed safe, quick, electronic referral route for all health and society professionals.

Specially trained Dementia Advisers will complete an assessment of their needs and provide the right information and advice to them. This can include online and printed support such as our practical guides and services offered by the Alzheimer’s Society, including our online community and external providers of additional group support.

We also operate an online community called ‘Talking Point’ which can be accessed via the Alzheimer’s Society website. This is where people can ask questions, share experiences and get information and practical tips on living with dementia. It is open 24 hours a day.

Our wide range of publications and information online will help people understand dementia and plan for the future by providing the right information – focused on practical advice and support – at the right time.

There is also an online Services Directory – which allows people to find support services close to them by simply entering their postcode or location.
