Age Concern Malling provide:

Dementia Day Care

Based in West Malling, Age Concern Malling delivers 6 day a week dementia care.  The service aims to improve the well-being of older people and tackle dementia through specialised care, memory exercises, socialisation, entertainment and carer support.  Hot lunches are cooked on site.

 Day Care Opportunities

Age Concern Malling has community day centres in various locations, which offer a range of activities including performers, quizzes, bingo and day trips out.  Hot lunches cooked on site. 

Independent Living Service

This service aims to support the elderly in their own homes.  This service can include housework, ironing, light lunches and medication prompts.   A sitting service is also available. This service is registered by the Care Quality Commission.

Foot Care Service

Age Concern Malling provides a toe-nail cutting service available at Rotary House clinic, doctors’ surgeries and in the home.  This service is registered by the Care Quality Commission.

 Bathing Service

Age Concern Malling offers support with bathing.  This service is available in Age Concern’s specialised bathing suite Rotary House, West Malling] or in the client’s home.  This service is registered by the Care Quality Commission.

Shopping

Age Concern Malling offers a fortnightly service to Asda, Kings Hill.  Clients are collected from home and taken to the store.  On return the shopping will be carried into the home.  This service is registered by the Care Quality Commission.
