Healthwatch Kent is an independent patient organisation that is led by volunteers who can support you in two ways;

  • Healthwatch can help people to navigate the health and social care system to work out what services are available to them and how to access them. For example, if someone needs to access housing or mental health support but doesn’t know how to go about it, Healthwatch can help.  Contact the free-phone Helpline on 0808 801 0102 or email info@healthwatchkent.co.uk

  • Healthwatch can be your voice.  They want to hear peoples’ experiences of health and social care services so they can raise issues on your behalf.  For example, if someone has had a poor experience with mental health crisis support or is not getting the social care support that they need, Healthwatch may be able to escalate these issues on their behalf.   All the feedback Healthwatch receives is used to improve services.  If they don’t know about an issue, then they can’t help fix it.
